Recording Absences


To mark a child as absent for a session, do the following:
  1.  Click on the Children button and select 'Sessions':



  2.  Select a child from the list:



  3.  Pick a week in the calendar to view the child's scheduled sessions.
  4.  Click on the session which the child was absent for:



  5.  Click on 'Absent for this session'. 
     A new window will be displayed for you to enter a reason for the child's absence:


     
  6.  Enter a reason for absence and click on the 'OK' button.
    The session will change to a black bar in the grid to show the child was absent:



  7.  Click on the 'Save' button.
Please note: If all or part of a regular session is funded, you will also need to mark the child as absent for the funded session.

You will be able to see a record of a child's absences in the new Absence Report. Click here for more details.
