Footsteps 2 allows you to quickly and easily view all of the observations that have been created for each child at your setting.
To view a child's observations, do the following:
Click/tap on the 'View' button on the Recorded Observations tile on the Observations Menu page:
This will open the Observations List page:
The EYFS areas are represented by icons:
Click/tap on one of the numbered circles to view observations which cover the selected EYFS area. For example:
Please note: By default, only observations from the last 30 days will be displayed. If you need to see older observations, click/tap on the Filters button and enter a different date range, then click/tap on the 'Apply' button.
If an observation has photos/videos, you can view them by clicking/tapping on the 'View link images / videos' button to display a gallery.
To view an observation in full simply click/tap on it; the Observation form will open and you will be able to view each of the sections of the observation in detail.
Once you have finished viewing a child's observation, click/tap on the button to close the selected EYFS area.
