Scheduling a Room Visit


To schedule a room visit for a child, do the following:
  1.  Click on the Children button and select 'Sessions':



  2.  Select a child from the list:



  3.  Click on the Schedule dropdown and select 'Room Visit'.
     This will display the Schedule Room Visit page:



  4.  Pick the week in the calendar when the child is having the room visit.
  5.  Select a session type or enter details of the bespoke session.
  6.  Pick the room the child will be visiting.
  7.  In the grid, click on the day of the week the child will be having the room visit.
     The room visit will appear as a turquoise bar:



  8.  If you try to schedule a room visit on a day when the room is at full capacity, Abacus will warn you and ask if you wish to continue:



  9. Click on the 'Save' button to schedule the room visit.
Please note: Unlike sessions, room visits are not charged. They can be booked over existing sessions, meaning children can visit their next room prior to officially moving into the room.
