Changing a User's Password

Any user who has been set up as an “Admin” user has the ability to change a user’s password. The password that is set up by the admin will serve as a one-time-only password. The user will be prompted to change this password to one of their own choosing upon their first log in.

Changing a user's password will immediately log them out of all systems and any work in progress could be lost.

1. In order to set a new password for a user, head to "User Management" and click on the key icon next to their name in the Users list.

This icon will only be visible to users who have been set up with an email log in

2. Enter a new password for the user, confirm the password and click "Change password".

You can now inform your colleague of their new password. The user can use this password to log into their system and will be prompted to change the password to one of their choosing which they will use going forward.

Please note that the user is responsible for their own password and should not share it with anyone else once it has been reset.
