Parent Direct Debit Setup Guide

Parenta Pay 
With Parenta Pay, you can easily set up Direct Debit payments directly through the Parent Portal app, so you no longer need to remember to make payments manually.

Parenta Pay is powered by Stripe, a secure online payment gateway that allows you to conveniently process Direct Debit payments. 

If you do not have a Parent Portal app login, please contact your nursery, and they will send you an invite to create one.

How to setup a Direct Debit mandate
  1. Log in to your Parent Portal app and go to your Accounts page. 
  2. Click the 'Set Up Direct Debit' button.


    3. Enter your bank details and click 'Set up Direct Debit'.


    4. You're done! You will receive an email confirmation within 3 business days to confirm that the Direct Debit has been set up.

Notifications for upcoming payments
You will receive a notification from the Parent Portal app showing the collection amount that is due to be processed in 24 hours.

It typically takes 3 business days to collect the payment once the collection process has started.

Cancelling an incorrect payment collection 
If you wish to cancel a payment collection, please contact your setting within 24 hours of receiving your Parent Portal payment notification.

After 24 hours, the payment collection process will begin, and a refund will need to be processed.

Time to process refunds
It takes typically 3-4 business days to process a refund.
