Invoicing Products
There are two ways of invoicing products you have added to a child's account:
- Invoice immediately
- Add to the child's next invoice
To invoice for a product immediately, do the following:
- Click on the 'Extras' tab on the child's account page (Children > Accounts)
- Select the checkbox for the products you want to invoice.
- Click on the 'Invoice' button
The Invoice page will be displayed: - You can view the invoice by clicking on the 'View' button
- You can print or email a copy of the invoice by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the page.
- The invoice will now be listed in the child's account history:
The product will no longer be listed on the Extras tab after it has been invoiced. - You can pay the invoice by adding a payment on the Payments tab. Refer to the Add Payments article for help with this.
If you want to add the product to the child's next invoice, you don't need to do anything! Abacus will automatically include any outstanding product purchases on the child's next invoice.
