The Holidays section allows you to add dates when you are closed. This ensures children's sessions are scheduled correctly and that staff are only rota'd in on days when you are open. Adding your holiday dates will also ensure that all of your reports are correct.
To add a holiday, do the following:
- Click on the Settings button and select 'Holidays':

This will display the Holidays page:

- In the 'Holiday Details' section of the page, add the dates of the holiday
- If you want to add a single day (e.g. a bank holiday) select the 'Single Day Holiday' option, enter the name of the holiday (e.g. Christmas), select the date of the holiday and the start and end time of the holiday (this allows you to schedule a half day holiday if required):

- If you want to add a consecutive run of days (e.g. if you close over half term) ensure the 'Multi Day Holiday' option is selected, enter the name of the holiday (e.g. Spring Half Term), and select the start & end date of the holiday:

- The 'Allow Sessions on this Day' field will be selected by default. We recommend leaving this option selected because if you was to accidentally select the wrong dates for the holiday you would need to re-book each child's sessions during this time.
- If you plan to offer any discount to children who have sessions booked when this holiday occurs, enter the percentage amount into the 'Discount' field.
- Select the meals that will be discounted during the holiday.
- Click on the 'Add' button.
The holiday will be displayed in the table on the left-hand side of the page. For example:

- Holidays will show in the sessions grid on the Sessions tab (Children > Sessions). For example:
