Searching for Children

Each section of Footsteps has a search tool to help you quickly find the children you are looking for.

To search for a child simply click/tap on the  button in the top right-hand corner of the Children page.  A search box will appear for you to type the child’s name.  Press enter to search.

If no children are found based on your search, you will be informed that no results have been found.

If you navigate to another section of the system without closing the search field your search will be retained, meaning only those children whose forename and/or surname matches or contains the characters entered into the search field will be displayed.

To clear your search simply click/tap on the ‘X’ button at the end of the field.
