Child Account - Discounts Overview

Add a Discount to a Child's Account

The 'Discounts' section of a child's account is where you are able to view and update any discounts and funding the child is entitled to.

To view a child's account, click on the Children button and select 'Accounts':

Click on the 'Discounts' tab:

General & Sibling Discounts:
Applying a general discount and a sibling discount is exactly the same.
When applying a discount you are able to choose whether you would like the discount to be a set amount or a percentage of the invoice.
To add a discount to a child's account you must first select what the discount should be applied to by clicking on the 'Apply To' dropdown field and select from the following options:
  1. Regular Sessions Only (excluding meals) - If you choose this option the discount will be applied to the total cost of all regular sessions.
  2. Regular Sessions Only (including meals) -  If you choose this option the discount will be applied to the total cost of all regular sessions and the meals included in those sessions.
  3. All Sessions (excluding meals) - If you choose this option the discount will be applied to the total cost of all regular and extra sessions.
  4. All Sessions (including meals) - If you choose this option the discount will be applied to the total cost of all regular and extra sessions, plus the cost of all meals included in those sessions.
  5. All Fees - If you choose this option the discount will be applied to all fees on the child's account (sessions, meals & products).
Next, you must select if the discount is a fixed amount or a percentage of the invoice and enter the amount in the field. For example:

£50 discount

50% discount

Click on the 'Save' button to add the discount to the child's account. From now on, any discount which you have applied to the child's account will be deducted from their invoices.

Funding:
If a child is eligible for either 15 hours or 30 hours funding you must assign them to a funding group before you are able to schedule their funded sessions.

Please note: You must set-up your funding groups in Settings > Funding first. Please refer to the Setting-up Funding Groups article for help with this.

To apply a funding group to a child, select your funding group from the drop down and click the 'Save' button.

If you are switching from one funding group to another, you can set a date for when the next funding group takes effect. Please refer to Changing Funding Groups help article.
