Adding Products to a Child's Account


Please note: Before you are able to add products to a child's account, you must set-up the different products you offer. Please refer to the Products article for help with this.

There are two different types of products that can be added to a child's account: one-off products and recurring products. 
One-off products are ad-hoc purchases such as uniform or a registration fee, whereas recurring products are ones which are regularly purchased such as extra-curricular classes.

To add a one-off product to a child's account, do the following:
  1.  Click on the Children button and select 'Accounts':



  2.  Select a child from the list and click on the 'Extras' tab:



  3.  Click on the 'Add' button  


  4.  Select the date the product was purchased.
  5.  Select the product.
  6.  Check the rate (cost of the product) and amend it if necessary.
  7.  Enter the quantity of products being purchased.
  8.  Click on the 'Save' button. The product will now be listed in the table and will be included on the child's next invoice.


To add a recurring product to a child's account, do the following:
  1.  Repeat steps 1 & 2 above.
  2.  Click on the 'Recurring Product' button 


  3.  Select a product.
  4.  Enter the quantity of products to be added to each invoice. E.g. if the product was a club which takes place every week and you invoice the child monthly, then you would enter a quantity of 4.
  5.  Click on the 'Save' button. The recurring product will now be listed in the table on the 'Extras' tab:

  6.  The 'Amount' column shows the total cost of the recurring product which will be included on all of the child's future invoices.
