Abacus Release Notes 20/02/25


This release contains the following improvements:

Sessions Grid Enhancements


📅 New Month/Year date picker improvement
  1. Clicking on the month or year on the date picker will show this new pop up to jump to the month/year

🔍 Zoom In/Out for Better Visibility
  1. New zoom in/out buttons allow you to adjust the session grid to your preferred view.
  2. Your chosen zoom level is automatically saved when viewing any child's sessions.

⚡ Easier Identification of Overlapping Sessions

  1. Sessions booked at the same time (e.g., Regular and Funded sessions) are now clearly distinguishable.

📝 New Session Type Legend

  1. A legend at the top of the session grid provides a clear explanation of different session types.

📅 Date Display for Each Day of the Week

  1. The date is now shown alongside each day of the week (e.g., Monday 17) for better clarity.

💰 Invoiced Sessions Highlighted

  1. Invoiced sessions will now appear with a diagonal line, making it easy to see which sessions have been invoiced.

Improvements to Editing Sessions

✏️ New Edit Pop-up for Sessions

  1. Clicking on a session now opens an improved edit pop-up modal, displaying all session details.
  2. Existing options like Delete session and Mark as absent are still available.

🔧 New: "Ignore Consumable Charges" Option

  1. A new setting, "Ignore this session when calculating consumable charges," is now available.
  2. If you use the consumables feature, enabling this option ensures the session won't have consumable charges automatically applied.
