Abacus Release Notes 27/02/23

This release contains the following improvements:

Parent Portal setup

Send an email invitation to parents to use the free Parent Portal app. The email contains everything they need to self-onboard themselves to Parent Portal – including links to our Parent Portal app.

Old Date of Birth login

Any existing date of birth logins will work as normal, but any updates to their login details within Abacus will require conversion to an email login - which is now our new, standard login method for Parent Portal.

Parent Portal users who use an email login can reset their own password.

Hourly Funding Head Count Report - New Funding Group Filter

A new funding group drop down filter has been added to the Hourly Funding Head Count Report for correct term identification.

Booking funding improvements

We have improved the booking funding process when funded sessions are booked in non term periods. When possible, Abacus will find the closest term start or end date and notify you of the proposed change.
