Abacus Release Notes 11/01/22
This release contains the following new features:
Family section
improvements
Improved enquiries user journey
Mandatory fields have been reduced to make inputting enquiries more efficient.
Ability to sort carer list
A new 'Sorted by' drop-down menu to sort carers by the following sort options:
- Last name (default, existing sort order)
- First name
Capture mobile number
The existing ‘Other Phone’ field has been replaced with ‘Mobile
Number’ within the Edit Carer modal.
Children section

Ability to sort children list
A new 'Sorted by' drop-down menu to sort the list of
children by the following sort options:
- Known Name (default, existing sort order)
- Age
- First Name
- Last Name
Hide credit notes and reverse payment
Ability to hide credit notes and reverse payments from
the parents’ statement once these new options are ticked.
Primary and secondary language options
The existing Language option has been replaced by Primary
Language and Secondary Language options within Children > Child
Details.
The following reports have been updated to report on these new child details:
- Language report
- Child Data Form report
Finance section
improvements
All balances filter
An All filter has been added, to combine Positive, Negative, Zero balances within Quick Pay page.
Email receipts
An ‘Email receipt on saving’ option has been added
to the payment receipts section within Quick Pay.
Staff section improvements
Ability to sort staff list
A new 'Sorted by' drop-down menu to sort staff by the following sort options:
- First name (default, existing sort order)
- Last name
